Improving Contracts is written by Chris Simkins. 

Chris is a commercial lawyer based in the UK. He's spent most of his career writing and negotiating contracts, from very large outsourcing deals to consumer terms and conditions. He's always been passionate about trying to find ways to cut through the noise and simplify how contracts are created, agreed and managed.

Chris is now Head of Contract Optimisation at Simmons & Simmons, the global law firm. He works with clients to simplify and improve their contracts. You can read more about his work here.

Chris is a dad to three boys and a husband to one wife. He lives in Sheffield and, when he's not thinking about contracts, you'll normally find him at the side of a football pitch or strumming a guitar.
